Professional Employment Skills Training (PES)

The Professional Employment Skills Training is designed to help job seekers gain confidence so they can successfully enter the workforce, obtain and sustain employment.  Candidate must be 18 years or older.

The curriculum focuses on these fundamentals:

• Oral and written communication skills
• Resume preparation
• Interviewing techniques
• Self-marketing/Self-empowerment
• Building employee/employer relationships
• Basic computer skills
• Successful job searches
• Social Media job search tools
• Professional interview and workplace attire
• Proper workplace conduct
• Certificate of Completion

Once individuals complete the Professional Employment Skills Training they have learned new skills that will help prepare them for an effective job search and placement in an entry-level or skill set position.
