Training & Supportive Services

At Goodwill, we offer intensive training in a variety of career options which include in-depth class room instruction and practical hands-on experience. Our employment training programs teach workplace skills such as: problem solving, decision making and team work. In addition we offer individualized instruction based on abilities and experience with the ultimate goal of employment. 

Professional Employment Skills Training (PES)

The Professional Employment Skills Training is designed to help job seekers gain confidence so they can successfully enter the workforce, obtain and sustain employment.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Goodwill offers comprehensive services to individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Candidates must be referred through Department of Rehabilitation Services (DRS).

Reentry Services

Goodwill partners with background friendly employers to assist ex-offenders with employment opportunities.

Accelerate Chicago

The Microsoft Accelerate Program brings together community businesses and partners to unlock new economic opportunities, create a local pipeline that empowers individuals to learn skills for high-demand jobs and connect with employment opportunities that support their careers long term.
